I've not been on here for a wh...What a review.<br /><br />I've not been on here for a while, but had a moment to this album yesterday and came here looking for a review and voila!<br /><br />I had totally written this off as a stop-gap album, something concocted in a board meeting and recorded in a week tops.<br /><br />I could not be more wrong. The very intro to All The Lovers alone immediately sets the scene of what is to come.<br /><br />Interesting point about the snobbery towards her (ie the indiekylie comments), since part of my initial response was an assumption that there was some music snobbery at work here - as if to come to terms with some of her songs she had to re-work them with "real" music, etc. Again, so wrong.<br /><br />My highlights would be All The Lovers, Slow, Hand, Come, Finer, Never, Flower and the dramatic (but let's face it rather faithful) Confide In Me.
