This month saw the release of Keke Palmers album "So Uncool" in the US and its brilliant.
Mainly cos it includes one of the finest pop songs of the year which also happens to be one of the perkiest song-titles that DontStopthePop has come by in recent months. As you'll hear Keke demands her audience to get their bottoms up and recalls Shakira's forewarning that hips don't lie while ordering us to "bob our heads". Clearly, she wants us to play some kind of game of contortion. I mean at one time we're supposed to have our bottoms up in the air. Tick-done that! Then we gotta bob our heads too! Simultaneously?! Is it possible to be bobbing ones head at the same time protrude our rears in the air? I don't think this is possible-but if you've ever been in such a position please inform me and I'll readily take down notes.
Beside the utterly gymnastic temperance of the song, Bottoms Up is clearly listenable and thus deserves a mention on DontStopthePop. Keke, who comes from the darling world of acting, welcome to pop!
